How will Vision Plan 3.0 shape the future?
The OneSpartanburg Vision Plan is a community and economic development strategy designed to improve quality of life and raise prosperity throughout Spartanburg County. Since Vision Plan 1.0 launched in 2017, Spartanburg County's per capita income and educational attainment rates have increased, Spartanburg has attracted 14,298 new jobs, and significant investments have been made in outdoor amenities and Downtown Spartanburg. Vision Plan 2.0 created an ecosystem of support services for small businesses, ignited local solutions to the childcare shortage, and propelled funding for 577 road & infrastructure projects. Now, we must look to the next five years.
The community survey is now closed. Like Vision Plan 1.0 and 2.0, the resulting plan will be based on a wealth of data and community insights.
Vision Plan 2.0
On March 31, 2022, we launched the OneSpartanburg Vision Plan 2.0, our county's second five-year community and economic development strategy to capitalize on our community's momentum. The second vision plan was developed over a six-month period by Broad Ripple Strategies in consultation with a 49-person steering committee, fueled by a wealth of data, and input from more than 2,800 residents.

funding the plan
OneSpartanburg, Inc. created the OneSpartanburg, Inc. Foundation as a way of carrying out the talent, economy, and place initiatives of the OneSpartanburg Vision Plan. To this end, the Foundation funds programs, seeks funding for projects, and manages resources for Vision Plan initiatives.
The OneSpartanburg Vision Plan 2.0 would not be possible without the commitment of our investors, and the time and efforts of numerous implementation partners throughout our community.
